seriously considering dropping the entire pre-med thing and majoring in cog sci instead because I’m sick of having to jump through hoops for something that I’m not even sure of anymore and I’d be learning stuff that is both useful and interesting to me (programming? yes please. interdisciplinary science? yes please) and not just learning stuff for the sake of getting a good score on the MCATs.

imo, it’s not worth it to do something that you’re not sure of and if there’s something else that you can do that you’re interested in, then go for that. in any case, it’s a tough decision to make. but whatever you choose, I wish you good luck! :)
